Cisco Culture Book

In partnership with Cisco, fellow designer Rachael Paine and I worked to collaborate on The Cisco Culture Book; the company’s experience publication.

Upon gathering and editing all content, we better understood the approach toward production and developing hierarchical editorial system. We began by creating and presenting mood boards and several iterations to understand the direction Cisco executives wanted to take. After reaching an agreement we categorized all typographic elements into a style sheet along with a brand-appropriate system that offered a flexible publication design.

While working on the design and production of the Cisco Culture Book, our design process included research and concept development, gathering and editing content, and layout and typesetting. We held weekly video conference meetings to present visual iterations along with any revisions based on client feedback. We prepared all process files in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign and delivered print-ready PDF files to Cisco.
